There are some things that we all should try to keep in mind when we're posting, newbie and veteran alike. While these points of etiquette and common sense aren't necessarily required enough to warrant adding them to the Rules, they should be followed as much as possible to ensure things don't get too confusing.

Don't write too much for other members' characters with out their permission. This does not apply to non-specific non-player-characters.

Do read all active threads that are going on even if you aren't taking part in them so that you are up-to-date on current events. Also, read any inactive threads that are recommended by others.

Do read the posts in the threads you wish to join in on. Though preferably you should read all of the posts beforehand, at least read the recent postings before jumping in.

Do mention where your character(s) are going if they are leaving one place for another in the place/thread that they are leaving. Likewise, Do mention where your character has come from when they arrive at their destination. This can either be done In Character or Out of Character, as long as it is made clear.
