  Overview... The Artorian Imperial Systems sprang from the Nation of Artoria, on a small planet in the Weirdonian Universe. The Artorians rose from relative obscurity to complete planetary domination. Unmolested by its neighbors and untouched by the wars surounding it, Artoria flourished, establishing settelments on the surrounding planets. The Artorians kept expanding untill eventualy inhabiting their entire star cluster. With this expansion came the discovery and enslavement of the peaceful and primitive Dinidar, on the planet Septium. The Artorian IMperial Systems were ruled by the Emperor, except in times of war, when command was given to an elected Warlord. It was Warlord Marchius and Emperor Demascus who ordered the enslavement of the Dinidar. The years following the Dinidar conquest were one of turmpoil for Artoria. Both Marhiu and Demascus died suddenly, and Marchius left no heirs. 1456 years of strife raged in Artoria, as families turned on each other vieing to be chosen to be Emperor or Warlord. Over 500 men were placed on the throne, and none were able to hold it. The strife ended when Emperor Sajust took power, and named his uncle Majin Warlord. Majing slowly wrested power away from his nephew, eventualy taking complete control of the Empire. The Emperor's authority became that of a figure head and for 300 years the position of the Warlord was that of absolute power. That ended when Emperor Carsophil and forces loyal to him defeated Warlord Amenar in the Artorian Civil War. Currently Carsophil rules Artoria, and it is expected his son Veda will suceed him. Government... The Emperor is the absolute ruler of the Artorian Imperial Systems, but much power i can be found in the Clans. Noble families join into the clans, and clans with similar goals form political parties. These Parties meet three times a year in Congress, and help shape Artorian policies, with all final say going to the Emperor. Economy...
