  Overview... The Dairaian Empire is an interuniversal nation native to what has been designated as the Dairaian Universe and is comprised of nearly a trillion star systems spread across three galaxies that are within it's realm. It shares no traditional borders with any other nation but does share the same galactic cluster with the Irksacarian Coalition. The Dairaian Empire is a Constitutional Monarchy with it's capital planet located in the Myrillan Galaxy of the Dairaian Universe. The Dairaian Empire is comprised of an estimated one trillion star systems and it's population estimate numbers currently at nearly a quadrillion sentients, making it the most populous interuniversal nation. The Dairaian Empire was founded nearly three thousand years ago in the Myrillan Galaxy. Before then, the five galaxies were divided into two nations: The Amaris Empire and the Myrillan Empire. The Dairaian Empire was instrumental in the Monkey Wars over ten years ago and helped to found the original Outworld Confederacy and it's successor alliances the Interplanetary Council and the Multiverse Confederacy. Since the death of Emperess Estana Lenaris a few years ago, the Dairaian Empire's influence within the Multiverse has weakened and it's government has taken a decidedly isolationist position, offering no economic and military support for the failing Multiverse Confederacy. Government... The Dairaian Empire is a Constitutional Monarchy, however their constitution often takes a back seat to personal interest; corruption and useless beurocracy have weakened nearly every branch of the Dairaian government. It's current isolationist stance has resulted in an iron curtain between it and the rest of the known Multiverse. The lack of a separation of church* and state combined with a wave of religious fervor through the Empire have caused much concern amongst the Dairaian Empire's allies. Economy... The Dairaian Empire is strongly capitalist and unfortunately does not have in place checks and ballances to keep corporations and other economic organizations from from exploiting the lower classes in the Empire. It's trade with other nations has slowed to a trickle in recent years. *Louism is currently the official religion of the Dairaian Empire. The minority sect of Onlinism, a recent off-shoot of Louism, has been banned and its' followers repressed.   The uniform worn by the Dairaian Empire's Gazillion Navy reflects the pomp and circumstance the Empire insists upon in nearly everything. The dark blue-grey, gold and red uniform consits of one jacket with shoulder braids, one cap, one pair of pants, one pair of black boots and one pair of white spats.   |
