  Overview... The Defectron Empire is a Dictatorship native to what has been designated as the Defectron Universe. The Defectron Empire was once the largest and most powerful interstellar nation to ever exist. Its' massive fleets of living starships or bioships layed claim to nearly every system within their path. It was ruled by a single dictator: Emperor Defectron, an insectoid whose consiousness was split between as many as 14 duplicates of himself of various sizes. The Defectron Empire's capital is the planet Nert within the Defectron Universe. The Defectron Empire's age is unknown but it is estimated to be at least several hundred years old. Contact with the Defectron Universe has been non-existant since the brief period of civil war in which Defectron was deposed by his aged and insane creator known only as Dr Nudel Nogan. Defectron defeated Dr. Nogan and withdrew his forces from the Outworld and Dairaian Universes. It is speculated that Defectron decided to retire from the chaotic politics existant in much of the Multiverse at large. Government... Internal politics within the Defectron Empire are sketchy at best; Defectron's word is law. However, Defectron was by and large a benevolent despot and though he layed claim to thousands of star systems across the known Multiverse, he would withdraw this claim if politely chalenged. Economy... The Defectron Empire's economy is mostly capitalistic with a heavy emphasis on agriculture, specifically dairy products and pet foods. Defectron nanotechnology was also in high demand right up until their withdrawal from the known Multiverse.   Defectronian Armor is very tough and flexable, like a thick fabric. Built and largely composed of Nanites, it is able to withstand shrapnel, laser fire, plasma bolts and sonic pulses; it is also able to repair itself and adminster medicines to it's wearer.   |
